I guess nobody wants to take a shot at putting a value on this for you,I am not qualified to but it's a beautiful gun.I used to farm and when people would ask me what my wheat yielded I would answer 5 bushel better than yours, the first liar never wins so my best guess would be 25% more than anybody on here says it's worth.Jerry

It is a 5, Gr 6 had gold chickens inlaid.

My 3 year old Blue book says 1265 in 98 % condition.

Check Gunbroker, ignore items with no bid.

Etchen has a 3 barrel skt set in a #6 that he wants 4800 for. Figure backwards from there and say 2500-3000 for yours?

1981 may be fixed choke or std invectors at best. That means that it is a small-bore gun (not the .740 bore as the modern ones are) and selling is tougher than the newer ones. It is a semi-fancy (japanese made) field gun of yesterday and collectors for these are few, and times are tough.

HM is on the money and I'd take Chris's money + S & H if it is fixed choke. Other than the "glitz" it is still an early Citori.....my 2cts...merlyn
