Caught part of a Rahm Emanuel TV interview. He plans to take city employee retirement investments out of gun companies and redirect to other investments. If guns sales are the highest ever why would he put those funds elsewhere? Apparently he doesn't care about you city employees..he cares about his anti-gun agenda. Chicagos high homicide rate? Not a mention. Well trained by obama. ed nichols

He'll get a nice little gift from the stockbrokers on the deal. Maybe a multimillion mansion like someone else we know.

Ed, I don't want to be critical here, but Obama is a protege of Rham and his mentors the demcratic party of Chicago. Obama can't teach his dog how to sit you give him way to much credit.

It is a bit hypocritical for a city to be making money off a product they're seeking to ban. In that light he is doing the correct thing.

However, they should also be making the most on their investments for their employees, so apparently a healthy pension fund takes a back seat to politics.

What I want to know is if the city holds stock in tobacco, booze, hammers, and any other products that can result in death.
