Cheek pad

    Just made homemade cheek pad.1/8soft foam wrap whit (chamwow).
    Just to try getting my Citori to shoot 70/30.
    Plus I ad 2 shells full of 7 1/2 in the stock.
    Realy balance a lot bettrer.
    Please your coment will be appreciate.

    On a shotgun, Your eye is the rear sight, so just like a rifle, where you move the rear sight to make the bullet move the same way on the target, that is what you want to do with your eye. By moving your eye higher on the stock, you move the shot pattern higher. Be careful that with your padding, you aren't moving your eye sideways, which also moves the pattern sideways. Shoot some shots at some paper and see what your experiment is producing. Good luck. Mark

    I bet when you shoot it now you say "Sham Wow!!!". LOL

    Pierre--If that don't work out they do make several systems that raise the comb area witout making it a permanent change. Gamaliel's has a couple choices.

    Click on the link above and it is a page full of various ways of doing so. The Meadows Soft Comb Covert-A-Stock looks like it would work great.
