If you buy a barrel for one of your shotguns , how do you check if the barrel fits correctly?

Yoda has it right. I have owned several Perazzi TM-1s. Often a barrel from one break open gun will fit another gun (but not all) perfectly. Most times a barrel can be fitted to another gun with minor alterations. Rarely fitting is too extensive to be economically feasable, but can be done. As Yoda says, see a competent gunsmith regardless of how well you think it fits. Marc

On ANY shotgun that cocks with a cocking bar.. be SURE you don't bend the bar by forcing a barrel shut.. The barrel might fit perfectly.. but if the cocking bar is now to long..(forend lug location)..You can damage parts that could have been easily fitted...
