The cheapest and best I've found is to drive the hour and half East over to Buffalo Creek Trap Club halfway between Canton and Tyler on 64. Good birds and good people. George will treat you right. And if you're on the west side of town check out Fort Worth Trap & Skeet just west of Fort Worth on I-20. Bunch of good folks over there too. Just stay away from Elm Fork Shotgun Sports in Dallas. They claim to have trap but really don't and they are sky high price wise.

How can a club stay in business if targets cost $2 and they charge $3??

    Quantity?

I only pay $2.50 at one club I belong to, and $3 at the new club I just joined.

    Try a mouse trap. I think there's 3 for a buck.

Hoggy, that comes out to $27, a round.

Still, if you'll hand throw it, it might be fun.

How can a club throw 3 dollar a round targets? Its a non-profit club. Its a co-op club owned by its members. Any extra income is put back into the club to pay bills, buy targets etc. You load your own machines , clean up after yourself...pull your own targets......best deal around and membership is cheap.
