Ever since Browning stopped making the MagicDots, I've been trying to find a similar replacement. I've tried some of the other commercially available MagicDots, but found them to be too big and the adhesive too sticky.

So here's my solution for making easy, opaque magicdots that you can use on any lens color.

For those of you who use magic dots, I hope this helps.

The paper punch can be bought at most craft stores (about $4) and you get them in a range of sizes. I tried 5/8" and 3/4" (which is the same size as the original Browning dots). Use the non-colored end of the Post-it Note tab.

Great idea and very creative but even easier are these. Around $7 for 1015 of them various colors and reusable.
