Before I attempt to change any of the springs in my Browning Broadway myself, can anyone give me any hints about how to do it or how NOT to do it. Thanks for any help.

Hi; Go to Shotgunworld.com. In the Gunsmithing & Restoration section the first topic is O&U Firing Pin Maintainance. It shows pictures of spring removal in Browning Citori. Yours is almost the same.

Thanks for the link. How about the release lever spring? Is that just a matter of unscrewing the retainer screw, removing the retainer and replacing the top lever spring? When it comes to gun springs, I don't like surprises. Thanks for any help.
