Support the Second Amendment. Support the CNY Friends of the NRA!

The 19th annual CNY Friends of the NRA Banquet is quickly approaching and it is starting to shape into one of the best to date! In addition to wonderful prizes and raffles, we are auctioning off two donated African Safaris, valued at more than $30,000!

More than 50% of the proceeds raised by the CNY FNRA go directly to the benefit of our shooting community within our region. Last year alone the Upstate NY area received over $157,000.00 for programs such as local chapters of the Boy Scouts of America Programs, 4-H Shooting Programs, the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP), Eddie the Eagle Gun Safety Program, and numerous range improvement projects that benefited the public at large. Locally, projected Grant Funds going to the Dewitt Fish & Game Club Youth Shooting Program $4,039, Baldwinsville Rod & Gun Club Inc. $1,492 , Mad River Club $3,000, NNY Chapter of Hunters Helping Kids $2,170, Longhouse Council for BSA, $2,609 & Oneida Rifle Club Junior Rifle Club $2143.62 through the FNRA Grant Program.

Fund raising is the corner stone of our Grant Program. All of the money raised goes right back into our shooting community and we cannot make it happen without your help. Please consider underwriting one of our many items from our 2011 Standard Merchandise Package or make a donation to our bucket raffle. Your contributions are recognized with a tent card outlining your donation.

We also have the best people volunteering at our chapter, our meetings are fun, and we get a lot done. We have been number 2 in the state for fund raising and hopefully, this year we can be number 1. We can’t do it without your help. If you have a few extra hours a month, for a most worthwhile cause, please join us the second Monday of every month at Gander Mountain in Cicero at 7pm.
Enclosed you will find raffle tickets for the 2011 “Gun or Cash Ticket:

    1St Prize a Stag M4 Style AR Carbine Cal 223/556 or $500.00
    2nd Prize a NRA Weatherby PA-459 12 Gage tactical Pump $500.00
    3rd Prize a T.C. Triumph Muzzle Loader W/Nikon 3X9 BDC Scope $500.00

We are asking for your help in selling these tickets. How many raffles can you get cash or a gun? So, they are easy to sell. If you need more tickets, please call or email and we will gladly send you more.

Please! Announce Our Banquet in your upcoming newsletters to let your members know about
this important event. Your efforts will keep more money in the area for CNY Clubs and Programs.
