Wow that is so sad on the water damage, If I lived closer I would help your clean up, But I would also be helping friends and Family in the Cedar Rapids area, 1200 miles is far to travel for a weekend,

Keep up the great work,, and lets hope this weather turns around for everyone in the state,

    Doug

Thanks for posting the pictures. I wouldn't know where to start, but it looks like someone did. Lots of hard work for those involved. Keep up the good work.

The Cedar Falls Gun Club's clean-up progress continued today with many ISTA and CFGC folks onboard. Tomorrow will be a BIG clean up from 9:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. We can use dozens of folks to pitch in and work, work, work, clean, clean, clean. Just know that you won't be clean when you leave! Bring along cleaning supplies--paper towels, bleach, spray cleaners, old rags--and tools--old brooms, old dustpans, rakes, shovels. Oh, yeah, WATER for cleaning! If no one brings a large container of water, we'll have to rely on jugs of water.

Today Dan Osgood and Mark Simkins changed out all but two of the electrical outlets in the clubhouse, the Bob Allen Building, and the State Registration Building. Jon Peterson, Steve Manary, and their crew finished removing broken targets and soggy cardboard boxes from the last five trap houses. By the way, chances are good that the Gun Club will have electricity by Monday or Tuesday! WHOO HOO!

With more sunshine and wind, the camping grounds will be okay. Still soggy at the far east and far west ends, but those areas are always the last to dry out.
