The rib on the CG Summit trap model is fairly high.

If you have a CG summit trap and are a one-eye shooter, please let me know if you like it or if the high rib creates any problems for you.

    I'm thinking about getting one.

    Thanks.

They also make a top single model.

Can't help you with the one-eyed aspect as I am a 2 eyed shooter but here is a pic of the top single I just bought, love the gun,has a lot of potential. Hope it helps.

There are two one eyed shooters at my local club with unsingle Guerinis and both cannot say enough nice things about their SGs. Indeed they are so effusive they're obnoxious!

I have two, a combo unsingle and an unsingle as a backup, but I shoot with two eyes and I'm not obnoxious...

I have a Summit combo. The rib high is all the same on any trap CG gun.
I shoot with 2 eyes and no peoblem. My wife shoots the gun sometimes. She shoots one eye and has no peoblem. Her gun is a Beretta combo with PFS.

Thanks for everyone's comments. I'd appreciate comments from others too.

John, nice looking gun! If I get a CG it will be the top single. Did you get the CG recoil reducer that goes in the stock? If yes, do you think it is worth it?

I'd appreciate comments on that from others too.

No I did not get the recoil reducer, the gun is a soft shooter for me as is.

I am a one eye shooter and have had no problems shooting my summit combo.

Hitting the target is another thing.

All kidding aside, I do like the gun a lot. Soft shooter, great service from the folks in Cambridge, MD.
