Does anyone have any information on when and if Browning manufactured BT99's with a case colored receiver?

Wrong!! Yes they did. Mine was made in 2007. There are several for sale on the net. Gander mountain has one.

I won't say they didn't but I'd sure like to see one. Would be the first I heard of it. They have the Siver Nitride receivers with blued barrel at Gander but I didn't see a Case Colored BT.

Sorry, those numbers didn't bring up anything for me at Gander Mountains site. I found the "White Satin" models there but that was it. Why not post the pic of your's on here instead of my email. Lots of guys have not seen one and would like too. Sounds like an interesting new model.

I can't understand why you can't find it on Gander Mountain. I googled "BT99 case hardened" and Gander was one of the sites to come up. Clicking on it brought of the site right away. Anyway, here are some pics. The Browning serial number code (not pictured) indicates 2007 production.

Thank you. I don't know why i couldn't find it on Gander either, but i couldn't. Then again i don't know why you just didn't post what you just did in the first place. Anyway, that is indeed the animal. Thanks for posting. I had neither heard nor seen one before. Now i have.

That's a lot nicer than the plain-Jane standard finish they offer now on BT-99s.

Anybody got an opinion on Browning's "White Satin" version? I've never held one but I assume it's silver nitride. Not bad for $1129 new, IMO.

Click the link. This one says 2009 production with case color, but I can not zoom in enough to verify it in the pic.

Surfer: I only paid $1500 for that M37. The other $1500 was for the box :)
