WHY-DOES THIS CLASSIC HAVE ONLY 5 CLASSES?- IT APPEARS THAT AA CLASS IS SHOOTING AGAINST AAA SHOOTERS. LOWER CLASSES ARE NOT SO SEVERLY IMPACTED.

Total paid entries in 2008 = 5348. Total paid entries in 2007 = 2821. I have the breakdown by event if you need it. Thank you to all who came and made this shoot a great success! We are already planning more activities and more trophies for next year.

    Don,

Has the dates been set for next year's events? I really enjoy shooting all three events: Buckeye , Ohio State and the Cardinal Clasic. Thank you all!

    Big Papa,
Sat. singles had 654 entries. Sunday's doubles had 442 and the handicap had 676 entries. Total for the three championship events was 1772. I will see if I can get the breakdown of shooters by state. BTW - In 2007 the 3 championship events had a total entries of 1270.

45ACP - I will get you the dates for next year's events. We had them written down at the entry desk but I forgot to grab a copy. Thank you very much for coming to the shoots. I hope you had a great time and shot some good scores.

    Don

Duckdog, I had called prior to the shoot about using my Polaris Ranger, and Jenn told me there was some discussion about a "Golf carts only" rule next year.
May want to advertise that early and often next year if that rule changes.

Mary Hornyak of DK Sales was selling the shirts. I don't know if she has any left. She did advertise in the Ohio State program and there is a chance that the program is still on the website www.ohiotrap.com

    Setterman,
I am not aware of any problems occuring at Cardinal with the ranger type vehicles. We had discussions about posting 15 MPH speed limit signs to keep everyone safe. The ranger type vehicles that I saw were all being driven very politely and safe. I will check with Adan to see if there were issues that I am not aware of.

    Setterman,
I checked with Aden today and there are no plans to restrict the facility to golf carts only. As long as we are all operating in a safe manner I think we will be fine.

Did the Ohio State Shoot used to be held in Vandalia? Do most Ohio shooters live closer to The Cardinal Center???
