Can my AL2 be fixed?

    Look at the lug on the bolt. and make sure you are correct about the reciever.

    mp3006, aluminum can be welded. It requires slightly different equipment and procedure, but it's just as effective. I had a similar problem with an AL-2 and a friend welded and machined it. The gotcha comes with costs if you don't have such a friend to do it for nothing. You seem to have 3 options; 1. Have it welded and machined. 2. Buy a replacement receiver (I've seen them available on this site more than once, $250 seems the norm price). 3. Part out the gun and buy something else (It's not unusual for a parted gun to bring more cash than a whole one, albeit, you'll be missing the most valuable piece).
