I had been trying to find my unicorn Citori Plus combo and hadn't found one. I ran across a nice Citori Plus so I bought it. I'd still like to find a single barrel for trap and so far I have a single barrel off a Bt 99. I'd like to know if it could be fitted to my Plus and if so where's a good gunsmith to do it. Thanks Mark

    possible - pretty sure

worth doing? Probably not. Better to contact Browning directly and have one made for you. It'll be easier for the gunsmith to fit to your gun when all is said and done (because you'll need to do that regardless).

Browning won't do it. I tried and they simply said it was "cost prohibitive".they don't sell barrels for break open guns.

I would assume that with enough money, anything can be made. All you need is a good monoblock to start with and have a barrel fitted and made.

They never made a top single for a Remington 3200, but I have one...

You want to weld a hummingbird's beak onto a duck's ass?

Ok... I used to shoot with a guy that had a citori combo. Not an uncommon gun. At the time I was shooting a Browning xt. Essentially that is what his double also was. His top single snapped right onto my xt receiver but Browning would not sell me a single for my receiver. It seems you have to buy the whole combo if you want the 2 barrel set. A bt 99 barrel would not be the same as a top single barrel.

They said it was "cost prohibitive" meaning it would be cheaper to buy a new combo. I took their word for it.

Combo not comb. The top single barrel only comes with citori combo. Not available separately. A bt99 barrel won't work at all.

I had stayed away from this thread because this quote pretty much sums up my first reaction to the question.

just like the Perazzi Ms2000 and the TMX are made by Perazzi they are two very different guns that truly cannot be grafted together to use a barrel from one on the other!!!!!!!

NO amount of duct-tape in the world will get those Brownings or those two Perazzis together and looking like anything other somethings front end on some other things back end!
