California Shooters,

We would like to announce the CGSTA Board and ATA Delegate will be hosting an informational meeting in Southern California. This will be the first meeting that will be held in the State where we hope to provide information as to the recent changes the ATA has made and the direction the CGSTA is heading. The scheduled date is March 18th 2012 (Sunday). Anticipated time will be in the afternoon and will be announced when additional details are finalized.

This will be a meeting that will consist of a panel of CGSTA Executive Committee Members, ATA Delegate and others as needed. The meeting will be for the purpose of discussing the future. We anticipate this meeting will have lots of discussion by the members who are able to attend. In the very near future additional meetings and dates may be announced.

We are asking for any shooter that may have access to a meeting location to let us know. We would like the meeting location to be in the area of the West end of San Bernardino or Riverside Counties. North Orange County is also another possible location.

The agenda for the meeting will be drafted and posted prior to March 18th. We look forward to the opportunity in providing open channels of communication between the membership and you’re State Officials.

If anyone has any questions, concerns or ideas please let me know.

James Hammond

California ATA Delegate

Ladies and Gentleman,

We are looking for a meeting place that is more centrally located so shooters from all over the South or Central California can attend. A good place to accomplish this would be near the west side of San Bernardino or Riverside Counties. We would prefer not to have the meeting at any of the gun clubs as we do not want to impact their operation.

If someone has access to VFW or Elks Lodge please let us know. This will be a productive meeting and anyone that is available should attend.

Thanks James

Ask a church or temple? Automotive dealership? Gene Autry Museum if you consider Los Angeles? Redlands University? Petersen Automotive Museum? Again that's Los Angeles, but Robert Petersen loved shooting and guns more than cars.

Gotta be some place...just hit up a few places via phone; gotta be some supportive business or institution.
