    Ah come on...the condor needs protection, I mean really..I have no problem with that. I do think, however, most trap ranges need protection from encroachment as historical monuments...and I am not kidding. One tactic to save ranges from the uncontrolled development of suburban lands for breeding hutches.

    Well now finally a good idea for the Condors and along with that the FERAL horses in the west. Yes there were horses of some type in prehistoric times but the ones that are inbreeding now are decendants of ones that the Spanish brought with them to the New World. Totally unrelated to prehistoric ones. I say make dog food out of them all and yes maybe make the Californicator Condors extinct also!!
