Anyone able to explain what a calcutta is?
Shooters pay a fee to enter the Calcutta (just like any other option).
Shooters are then auctioned, either singly or in pairs.
Payoff is usually 40/30/20/10 percentage with the buyer getting 70% and the shooter getting 30%.
So, if there is $10,000 in the Calcutta (buy in total + auction total) and you bought the lone high score shooter you would be paid $2,800 ($10,000 X .4 X.7). The shooter of the lone high score would be paid $1,200 ($10,000 x .4 x .3).
Separate names with a comma.
