I have heard some rumors that people have had trouble with the silver nitrate finish peeling off the receivers of their trap guns. Can anyone validate this as being a chronic problem with these guns?

I've sold over 25 Summit's w/ the nickel alloy finish and no one has complained to me. Also no other dealers have mentioned anything to me when we talk. Would like to know more. I'll ask the folks a CG when I next visit with them. CAZ

Smoking Gun: glad you're enjoying your gun. Nice thing about Guerini, with the "Pit Stop" program when you send it in they will take many of the dings out as best they can, no charge.
RE: the choke tubes, try a Wright's tube wrench, tapered stainless.
Yes the pitch is a problem for some shooters, was discussing this with Wes Lang, CG Pres. trying to decide if they should change it. Making several stock configurations would push the price to less comfortable level.
Barrel selector can be added either at CG, Maryland or by me at a shoot. I'll be at the SW Grand and Missouri State Shoot. Doug

I have a Magus combo and love it, like any other "new" gun i had to work with it but now it's really starting to work for me. I shot a 98 with last week and a 47/50 in a 30mph wind. The other thing about Guerini is the people. They are great to talk to and always will do whatever they can for their customers.

I'm looking hard at a Guerinin too.

They have the lifetime warranty, which is also transferrable, so it seems like if there ever was a problem with finish it would be taken care of.
