A guy had a nice sporting Guerini at the gun club the other day,i could not tell it apart from my B.Rizinni.Guerini are related to the Rizinni's and i suspect these guns are made in the same factory, for all practical purpose's they are identical, even the engraving. These are well machined guns, very nice to look at and well balanced. There new trap models look awesome and for the price a must have.I will get one,no matter what anybody else says.A step above your average guns,i have little doubt of that.
Regards Rocky
Looks like a great gun but if they were startinmg from scratch, why didn't they use a removeable trigger. Many Perazzi shooters for example, have multiple triggers in case one goes "bad".
Bought a Summit Sporting and it is one flat shooting gun. Had to get the comb cut. Recoil was evidant as well, but their not a heavy gun. Still a good buy for the money? We'll see.
How would you really know as the trap guns are just coming into the country. Name a trapshooter who has had one to shoot 1,000's of rounds through. They just delivered the 1st trap combo a week ago at Indiana. I think you are a little early in trashing a new gun that hasn't even had a chance. If you can't name names then why say anything??
Their sporting guns have been out there for quite some time. I would imagine many of those have been shot hard. I have not heard anything negative...so far.
Any sporters been shooting one for an extended length of time?
Read the title of this thread "Ceasar Guerini Trap Guns". Where is my personal attack?? I too ask that you deal in facts. You are want us to believe what you heard from somebody you know in the firearms business who might have heard it from somebody. I know several who have ordered guns based on shooting and going over the gun with a fine tooth gomb. They(Guerini) have done their research so let see if they perform over time.
By the way I can remember the problems the K, P and B guns had years ago and these were personal experiences.
Last week Indiana Gun Club had four on the wall. I think there will be plenty to go around in the near future. I just hope they master the release trigger so I can try one.
Jaquas has 4 and Indiana Gun club has some. A few local guys are already shooting them, so theres far more than 25. I shot one today. Swung nice, minimal recoil.
I shot the unsingle at the Indiana State Shoot and am headed back to IGC to shoot it again tomorrow along side an MX 2000. There is obviously no way to measure reliability at this point, but it sure does look great and was a pleasure to shoot. Someone at the range yesterday told me that a friend of his has one of their other models, and that it's been back to the factory more than once with finish problems. The fella said that the company has been very helpful, and that the president of the company even called, but that the finish keeps coming off.
Ask a K gun owner about a P gun, and you hear about trigger springs. Ask a P gun guy about a K gun, and you hear that a gunsmith is in your future if anything breaks. B guns are light in the barrel, and Brownings, well I haven't heard to much bad about Browning except that folks are having trouble with one barrel shooting right, and the other the other way.
I've seen the new trap combos and they look and handle well. The importer is a few miles from one of my homes and I'm going to take a closer look at them. If they shoot and hold up well, they should be a winner. The combo is almost half the cost of some premium guns and they appear to have some decent features. They also claim to have a release trigger available, which would be a great option from the factory, for those that prefer them. I'd prefer a mechanical trigger, but the inertia design seems to work well enough.
There was a guy on here about 2-3 weeks ago that had stated that he got his Guerini back from them with the release triggers, but He also stated that they had to disconnect the auto ejectors ( that were someway in the way of the release trigger mech.) He went on to say that he is satisifed with this although now the gun only extracts and now longer ejects.. For some reason this makes no sense to me, does anyone know more about this issue with the release triggers ??????
The guy on here a couple a weeks ago had someone else do the triggers. I have been told by Guerini that the first factory release trigger will be at the Grand for trial and then it will go into production. Guerini also told me that if the releases are done by someone else that it may affect the warranty on the gun. Getting close.
