I've got 2...an O/U for trap doubles (I have a Kolar for singles and h'cap)and a sporting clays gun. VERY happy with both. Excellent fit and finish, service is superb (note, the US importer, Caesar Guerini USA, has just expanded their service facility, so, they must be doing well to be spending that kind of $$$ in this economy). They had some start-up isues with their rew release trigger, but all appears to be fine now. Several people at our club have purchased the combo and are very happy.

At my club there are more than a few people who have bought a guerini. These are great guns. I love the head up position because of the high rib. The customer service is better than any gunmaker in the country. A guy sent one in on feb 9 for a pit stop and they had it back to him feb 20. An 11 day turnaround and they threw in a shirt and cap. Great service and great people to work with .

I just realized the reason it was so quick was because i live in maryland. Either way, still a good turnaround.

Get a used K-80. You will not lose as much if you trade it and it is a proven gun.

If you don't like the K-80, get a used Kolar. The Kolar is a fine gun but they do not hold their value and a used one should be a great value.

    Used Perazzi is another option.

There are a lot of good used "high end" guns out there.

Dverna..... the feel of a K80 and the CG's are VERY different. I have both.

Another vote for the CG. Heck of a gun for the money.

I have been shooting a summit combo for a year and like it. I just got it back from it's first free pit stop.

The people at CG are great to work with.

I bought the summit because it has every thing I was looking for in a combo gun and I have not been dissapointed.

As far as trade in value, I plan on keeping mine not trading it.

Goose2 Take a look at The Smoking Gun Summit Trap. It has to be one of the best looking Guerini with DeVault custom stock. It's a good buy for $5600.

I would let my Summit Trap go but the DeVault stock sure is tempting.
