USA Today has a story and connecting link video from cars.com about the next Corvette, the C7 and it is pretty awesome looking and bringing back the name "Stingray" to it.

Click on link to another news source.

While it is a "makeover" you can still see some C6 in it.

Not like the C7 prototype, with the egg crate grill and Lombo doors, but still different.

Most radical changes are square tail lights and rear quarter panel windows.

It will be hard for the purists to accept, but I like it.

I think it looks really cool. Rear half is somewhat Ferrari-esque.

Cars like this will soon be banned. They are built to excessively break the law and many deaths are the result. Besides, why do you need one?

I like it a lot but I like the new mustang even more. It Tops 200 MPH but that's sort of like my wife's car will run 160 but I'll never do it, as there's no place around here to safely do that.

I like the new shape, I do not like all the new bobbles.

I wouldn't mind one in my garage, not a bit, but I typically prefer vettes of 40+yrs old and older...I want my L88 427 Ragtop back

Well, they were foxy about price, saying if you can afford one now, you can afford this one.

Average prices on show room floor are 60M for sport coupe, 120-130M for ZR1 here in Denver.

They said the current year base model is around 49,500.

My favorite still the 72. Miss mine and with the engine mod it had, it was anything but anemic, but I do like the handling of current models better.

While the body mods are nice, as a past owner I'm more concerned about performance enhancements. I do know that they have a mid-engine on the drawing board. Now it sounds like the C8 will have it.

The new Body style will have to grow on me I still prefer the C6 body style. I drive a C6 black vette and sometimes take it to trap shoots weather permitting. The fuel mileage is about 30 to 31 on the highway, top end speeds ? (no comment)

I like the lines of the 2014 Stingray.

But at my age it's hard to beat a Mercedes-Benz E550 coupe.

At my age, it's hard getting in or out of a Vette.

the newest Vettes are one of the safest high performance cars out there..in an accident the body will disentegrate but the occupant area is a super strong structure like a tub ..sort of like a A10 Warthog....Phil,.the Mercedes is cool but I'll take the Vette or Mustang and save the 80K I save for shooting..I heard a brake job on one of those is almost 3k...no way for this old boy,..thats a new gun or two!

Seems as if it takes it's lines more from the Camaro than the C6.

snidely, nailed it. Looks more like a new Camaro than a Vette. Even though I am a Ford man still wouldn't mine having one.
