1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I'm interested in making a purchase from an internet classified listing but I don't have a good feeling about it, any ideas on protecting yourselef from scam's and assuring what is being offered is what you get.

If you have spoken to the person and you still don't have a good feeling, Don't walk, Run from the deal.

There are lots of honest sellers just keep looking.

This person isn't insisting on western union are they?

I think I'll run from this one. I asked for a phone number and got "I am a stammerer" (sp) and no phone number He even writes with an accent, thanks.

I just got an email from Armslist warning that the listing I was looking at might be a scam, it didn't smell right.
