    All you Sacramento guys,

I am headed to Sacramento Sept 9th though the 16th and would like to do a little trap while in town. My question is: I here you have to register or fill out some sort of paperwork in CA now to buy ammo? Does that pertain to Shot shells as well? WTF? I moved away from that state 4 years ago for garbage just like this. Can I as a Tennessee resident buy ammo in your state?

Question two, where is a good trap club to shoot at while in town that doesn't charge guests 9 bucks a round?

    Thanks ya’ll

    KK

At least for now, you can buy ammo cash and carry anywhere it is sold.

You have to sign the CC slip if you don't pay cash. BTW, all the trap clubs up around Sacramento play Toby Keith music nonstop. :)

KK - check out Coon Creek Trap & Skeet. It is on the outskirts of Sacramento (35 minutes from downtown). They have all the games you would want to shoot and no problems buying ammo. No forms, no registration none of that BS applies. This is an excellent shooting facility.

Take cash as they don't take CC's.

Enjoy - the owners and members will make you fell welcome. If you decide to go out there on the weekend stroll on down to the bunker - we'll be there.

    KK - I second ffwildcat's suggestion.

The only place that I know of where you need to "register" your ammo is in the "City of Sacramento." Once you leave the "City" you can buy ammo anywhere without restrictions in the Sacramento region.

Do come up to Coon Creek if you have the chance.

Yes, above is correct, the City of Sacramento (where I live) gets your name/address...hey it's really making a difference in crime...right. Frikkin city council members outnumber the sole 2nd Ammendment suporter (retired cop) 7-1. Not a big deal, but who in their right mind thinks a gang banger is going to buy ammo and register their name with it? Who you ask? Liberals that's who...the kind that vote for Obama and want all of us to lock step behind their very strict rules. I'm in the process right now of incorporating my business in Nevada to escape the escessive rules and regs. and taxes. I'll just remember the good old days (60's-70's) before the invasion of the liberals and illegals. Fact is most of the central portion (ag country) is Republican, but the cities are controlled by the socialists..er, Dems.
