First of all, turn off the caps lock. Really.

Second, be careful. I always call people on the phone when dealing on this site. It establishes that they are "real".

There is really no sure-fire way to handle this. Just be careful. If you do a FFL to FFL transaction, it helps a little.

Sorry to inform you that M is the acronym for Million and K is the acronym for thousand.

both are correct (M and K) depending on where and by whom they are being used.

there is ZERO way to be sure of anything except taking a flight over and picking it up in person. otherwise there is a level of trust to do the deal. if you don't trust the seller then you are SOL.

and turn off you damn caps already.

FFL to FFL. Send the money difference to the FFL address separately. Do not put the money difference in with the gun. Have the transferring FFL hold the gun and monies, until you receive the other gun. This will cost extra money, but with that kind of money involved, that is worth the peace of mind. Jon

Wow..I reviewed this thread and it certainly was pretty mild, considering the usual kind of stuff we sometimes see on this forum.

And the caps thing is simple courtesy. Caps in the online world is "shouting" and is hard to read.

FFL to FFl is not necessary unless it is a pistol. You guys that get caught up in that nonsense are just foolish. That's my opinion. Bill
