Just a quick question. If I am using the right MEC bushing for my load/powder on a MEC Jr. will I be close if I use the same powder/bushing in a MEC 9000? I don't think it will be much of a difference if any. What do you think? Thanks. 2str8
Never use a bushing with out wieghing the powder measured. MEC has a chart , it (to me) is ok, AS A QUIDE, it will put you close to the bushing you will end up using, but to me it is rarely "bushing listed"!
I know your question is about a bushing that you have already used, but if you are close to max powder charge, even if you are not close, if the bracket the bar slides in is just a liitle looser on the bar then the machine you are taking the bushing out of, you will gain a little more powder. If it is tighter you may loose some.
SO keep it safe wiegh at any and every change! One more grain may not do a think, BUT then again it might make a (VERY exspensive) THRILL!
