Bush pardoned 19 individuals and commuted 1 prison sentence. The violations range from unregistered firearms to marijuana trafficing to fraud. Why then did he not pardon the 2 DEA agents in jail that the DA (dumb ass) in south Texas prosecuted for shooting and wounding a known and convicted drug smuggler/dealer who had a large quantity of weed when shot? There is something inherently wrong when a US District Attorney uses that drug smuggler to testify against US DEA agents.

Any suggestions out there to help these 2 DEA agents get a pardon or at least a fair trial?

Used to be a huge (not overweight) President Bush fan. I have become completely frustrated by his recent bailout and pardon decisoins. I wonder if he is alright or if he has had a severe medical problem. The nice man now has issues !

It will be a gross moral mistake if he does not free these agents. The thought that the slime ball prosecuter granted immunity to a murdering low life drug cartel dealer in order to prosecute these two agents is enough to make me PUKE! They will set in prison for 15 years(one was almost beaten to death by illegal alien inmates already), While this sorry POS goes scott free! This is one of the greatest travisties of Justice in History!!!! If there ever was a TRUE CRIMINAL those who did this fit the bill!

Ah, for the good ol' days, when these two agents could walk for $400K and a phone call to Roger.

Just to set the record straight. The two agents in question, and in prison, are United States Border Patrol Agents. Not DEA agents. The other comments about the Assistant U.S. Attorney being a slime ball, dumb ass, etc. would appear to be accurate.

Well, maybe if the border agents had cheated on their taxes, swindled hundreds of people, and had pockets full of pot.....

Glenn Beck will be back on tv (FOX News) on the 19th; he's an advocate for the 2 Border Patrol Agents in jail. Pres. Bush still has time to do the right thing and pardon them. These guys should be set free. Darrell

    Dear SLH,
I stand corrected on the Border Patrol Agents issue. Thanks for your input.

The only mistake the Border Patrol agents made was leaving a live scum bag drug dealer witness to testify for the US Attorney... Another fifteen cent 9mm would have solved the problem. Bob
