Bill and Mike Raymond are the owners. They shoot at Ark Valey next door. It has open to AV members for a month or so now. If you want some info on it, I would stop by and ask for Mike as he is usually around there somewhere. I can ask for their email address if anyone would like it. Just let me know. They are great folks and have talked about prices of $7 a round.
    Take care,
    Rhett

Right outside of Wichita, next door to the KTA. Here is the KTA's home grounds address:

    3432 E. 117th St. N.

    Sedgwick, Kansas 67135

There is supposed to be one in Kansas already. At the Sirloin and Saddle Club, KC. . . According to the above link.

Sounds like there are now two bunkers in Kansas?

I have shot at the one at Saddle & Sirloin. Be warned, Saddle & Sirloin, as I understand, was SUPPOSED to have the bunker trap open to the public because of how they got their equipment. But they are a ritzy private horse riding club that also has clay shooting, and it takes an act of god for a non-horse club member to shoot their bunker trap.

    And technically, they're in Missouri.

I was by there last week end. Construction is not complete. Looks like the grade work is done and grass seed had been spread. Work was about half done on the overhead metal canopy over the shooting posts. It will be a nice looking site when all work is completed.

The site is just down the road a couple hundred yards East of the KTA range, so if you are shooting in the KTA Fall Handicap this week end you may want to drive by and take a look.

Closest to Ft. Scott WAS probably Sheldon, MO, but I think they just went out of business.

Lone Tree is probably closest other than that, but I don't know whether they are open on a regular basis. They are close to Iola, KS

Other than that, Powder Creek in Lenexa, KS may be the next closest, but that's a bit of a drive.

The new bunker "Wildcat Creek" is located @ 4000 E. 117th St. N. Valley Center, Ks. This is approximately 15 miles north of Wichita. The bunker is throwing targets as of September, however some of the facility is still under construction.

    Bill,
Looks like a very nice facility. Is this facility open to the public or is it just for members of the AV Club? If it's open to the public what days/hours are you open.

Great looking facility. I have one question. Its looks like the dirt is level on the back side(opening) of the bunker. How could you throw a 35 degree left 1.5m target? Looks like it would hit some dirt or is this just my eyes. Again, thanks for bringing the international game to your area.

    Silverbulletexpress...

Suggest you reserve your comments till you have shot some bunker. I have seen some great ATA shooters humbled by Olympic Trap.
