Does anyone have an update on the construction of the Bunker Trap facility at Redlands Shooting Park? I have been getting the bug with all the great posts about the Olympics.

Coming events! CICTSA(California International Claytarget Shooters Association)Is obtaining a 501c3 status and will then solicit tax deductable donations to put the hole in the ground. The machines are already in hand.

Meanwhile, join the group at triple B most Wednesdays and Saturdays after 11:00.

I used to shoot at Miramar before we lost the club. I haven't been able to shoot bunker in the past few years, but all the recent talk is getting my juices flowing again:) Terry runs such a great setup I would only assume that he will run a world class bunker at Redlands.

    Hi,
I would also like to start shooting Olympic trap. I currently shoot ATA.

Can someone from this group (mentioned above in this thread) that is currently active at TripleB give me a contact I can talk to get started ?

    Thanks,
    JB

Same here - I heard about the bunker at our last club shoot at Redlands along with the new wobble installation - I'm fairly close to 3B and Redlands, and would like to get started probably by the beginning of next year (need to pick up an O/U still)

What will it cost? The $11/round that 3B charges is a little high for me.

Just did a price per round of Bunker study and found that 3B was the higest in the country. Most bunkers are in the $6-$8 per round range.

3B is a different animal. County owned but run by a contractor.

    Puff Target...

Just did a price survey of a number of bunkers around the country the 3B website says $11.00 per round and makes no comment about member or non member rates.

Granted, I didn't amortize my "membership" fee, but I pay $8.50 per round, w/$2 more for non members.

$8.50, $10.50, or $11.00 a round, that's still a lot for a round of trap. What are the yearly dues at that club? HMB

My survey showed that Typically bunker is about $1 more per round than ATA.

The $1 more per round is what we used to charge at Miramar. One of my favorite memories is shooting a legit 23 in bunker on my birthday at Miramar a few years ago:)
