    Ken or users,

Is there a rough formula for initial setting on the hydraulics.

Such as 1-1/8 oz. 1250 fpm 8 lb gun start at setting #5.

I started at 5 and it seemed ok, but without shooting a flat or two

then experimenting I'm looking for a shortcut based on design intent.

Bob, when I had Ken install his bump buster on a Browning 525 I told him that I used mainly light loads, 1 oz. or light 1 1/8. He said he would set it up for me & it came set on #6. Based on that I would think your #5 setting should be just about right.

Good Luck & break em all!

    Thanks Hunter,

See I never feel recoil with or without the device when I'm shooting.

Always the next day I feel it. So setting may take a while.
