One of our regular poster friends has had Gary Bulley make this custom adjustable comb to replace an unatractive soft comb. Gary Bulley custom made the comb. It is of "Myrtlewood". Likely a Mike Mann blank. I'm sure more info to follow.

Very interesting. Not all of us need the soft tops.

Think how much nicer they would look if they matched the stocks. Geez!

Frankly I like it because it is different. I did not used to like painted stocks either but it is growing on me. Gary does nice work. He is very talented and always willing to help us out here

I think we can get a whole new deal going here. How 'bout a different wood comb for every day of the week. I'll put together a seven unit standard package of comb blanks with Myrtle, Maple, Claro Walnut, English Walnut, Bastogne Walnut, Screwbean Mesquite and Bubinga. Off the package goes to Gary who translates measurements, designs and produces the "All Week Comb Pack" to your specifics.

Think about it. Some poor sap at the Grand sees your pukey old Perazzi stock on Monday wedded to a fantastic Bubinga comb. Goes to his motel and dreams all night about multi-colored targets or some other garbage because he just can't understand................

Tuesday morning out on the practice trap same old pukey P-gun wood with a Screwbean Mesquite comb. Poor sap's head explodes, handicap scores plummet 'cause he's on the line thinking about-------who knows what!!

    Can't wait for Wednesday morning.

Think I've got too much time on my hands at 1:21 in the morning.
