Had a customer come in the other day with an MX 8 that he blew the choke out of. It bulged the bottom barrel. Has S-2 Briley chokes in it.Anybody know who might replace the bottom barrel ? Any help appreciated.

send your barrel to Briley I did the same thing and they repaired and reblued the barrel. cost was about $350.00. shot to the left and sent back and they replaced the chokes with a different series choke and and then shot perfect. had ten chokes and Briley traded choke for choke even (0) dollars. Briley will trade chokes any time you are unhappy. I was very happy with Briley.

Honest question: how do you "repair" a bulged barrel? Sounds like a good candidate for next month's "Gun blew up" thread. The metal has already failed, it seems to me. I'm not sure I'd ever be comfortable shooting a barrel like that.
