If dents can be removed by the various methods used by gunsmiths than can a bulge in a barrel be removed by using a mandrel on the inside to back up the external tool/hammer/press/etc. Seems like metal has been stretched in both cases. Saw a very nice factory trap grade M12 with a bulge about two inches forward of mag tube cap, Its priced accordingly. TIA.

Buy the gun and replace the barrel......or have some spare receiver parts.

Exfedex, if your not interested in the gun would you pass along info as I would be interested. I have spare barrels so present condition of the one in question is not a concern.

pheasantmaster- If you have spare barrels, I have a spare receiver (everything except trigger). We might be able to do something.

Thanks to all of you for your input. Going to think on it and you know what happens when you do that.
