Building a Rifle Cradle***************************

    I know that these can be purchased but I have all the wood & tools to build my own........Is there a set of plans or drawings available so I can custom build my own........I will be useing it as a support to hold my rifles & shotguns while I clean them........Also a pistol one would be nice.......Thanks in advance guys...........Pete

    Take a look at the SINCLAIR INTERNATIONAL site. They market a very nice aluminum cleaning cradle that is FAR smaller/lighter than anything you will build out of wood that will be as stable. I built a few over the years and since I bought the Sinclair cradles I given the others away.

    OR use the design as a stepping stone to build one out of wood for Your shop or loading room. But for prairie dog shoots or range cleaning the sinclair can not be beat.

    AS usual you guys are great.....Thanks for all the advice....Ended up buying from Gunstands.....Got both the rifle & pistol rests......Pete
