I started this under Charlie's new stock but decided that The information about the process would be most helpful. For those who have shot K-80's and are struggling with their new TS guns.

Notice how high the comb is jacked up to accommodate the new rib height. I built new 1 3/4" stainless posts to adjust the comb from a standard K80 trap gun to the new TS rib heights.

Here you will see the wood being laid out for the through bolt hole you can see a 5/16 drillbit running through the original stock to show where the through bolt will lie within the new stock.

Finally the stock layout showing the stock outline and where the throughbolt will exit at the rear of the stock.

I hope everyone likes the pics.

here we show boring an 1 1/8 inch hole through the blank

The second picture shows the oak dowel glued in place.

The third shows the back of the stock with the dowel cored to a 7/8" hole for the through bolt.

    More to follow Joe

This is a picture of the stock just off the duplicator what looks like water on the stock is actually Cyanoacrylate used to strengthen the wood voids this stock is beautiful but a bit porous. the following pics will be showing more of the same.
