At one time I had a number of Winchester books showing buffered loads with 540/HS-6 powder but in my move I seem to have lost them.

Does anyone have some good recipes for 540/HS-6 with buffered loads in the 1-1/4 to 1-3/8 range?

    Thanks,
    Ajax

I had the booklets, so someone else must. Black covered Winchester booklet.

Ajax, the buffer used in those loadings is more dated than the powder. I have what you seek along with some other loads. I'll be home Sunday and will try to rememer to get some info to you.

I have a maroon 10th edition from 1985 that shows data with "Grex" buffering material.
The Black 11th edition from 1991 does not show any buffered data.
