We visited with some friends in Mineola TX the week before Christmas. Curtis took us to his local trap club which is Buffalo Creek. We were welcomed by George Hanna who runs the club. We shot a few rounds and enjoyed the facilities and fellow shooters. George was a great host and we will return to his club in the future. Following are some pics taken at Buffalo Creek.

Yeah, Ole George has trained the armadillos to herd the buffalo, quiet an accomplishment. The white 'diller is the baby and is learning the proper herding technique, as witnessed in the first photo.

Buffalo Creek is a great place, made even better by the jolly ole feller that owns the place. Never a dull moment>

You folks up north that are looking to warm up a bit, come on down to Texas, between Tyler and Canton and get a taste of the good times.

I'll bet they don't throw wet targets like the Fort Worth gun club did at the October shoot. Wet targets don't break very well. Next time I'm in Texas I'm headed to Buffalo Creek for sure. I have heard great things about this club. Jerry
