    I like the light colored stripe through the grain. Looks like it will be a very strong stock as well.

    Beautiful job. What is the wood? Almost looks like a Bastogne/Black graftline.

    Barry,
    That was a pretty subtle "stripe" until I put the finish on. Kinda' surprised me too, in a good way.

    I pass up a lot of blanks that really look great, but haven't got good straight grain in the wrist area. In an O/U that is critical.
