And we are supposed to compete in the world economy with people who accept this as a proper way to get to work.

Can't quite make out the writing on the bucket - these people are not Japanese, dressed too warmly for Southern Asia or Taiwan and wrong complexion as well .. Too many kids to be Chinese mainland - has to be rural Korea.

Thought it was Obama for a minute, then realized that it was part of his family he doesn't acknowledge.

from what I can make out of the writing on the bucket, it isn't Korean, more like Chinese. I would think they are from Manchuria or the Gobi desert area. The tribal people up there don't seem to pay much attention to government edicts from Beijing. They could also be from the high plains in western China.

The baby in the bucket looks photoshopped.

Good catch on the photoshopping.... everyone bundled up and the baby is bare.

That plus look at the bucket baby's skin color compared to the one being carried in the papoose. The skin tone is close, but it's not a match. Especially look at the light coming in from the left.

And the kid is just a bit big for the bucket. The only way to cram that kid in there would be for its knees to be under its chin. Compare the size of the head of bucket baby to papoose baby. Nearly the same size. Now image papoose baby being in the bucket.

And the bucket appears to have a lid on it.

Clever, but photoshopped. I don't know why they bothered, because the original photo is funny enough.
