Need some help from BT99 experts. I have a chance to buy a BT99 but I would really like to know what it is!

The last 3 digits of the serial # determine the model and grade. Where is this info available?

The Browning link above is worthless IMO. It says 149 = BT99.

BT serial numbers end in a lot of different combinations other than 149. Where do I go to decipher these combinations? Thanks.

Try using the TS search engine. Put in Browning serial numbers. HMB

I have a Leo Special BT-99 that has 499 as the last three digits in the serial number.

    Well played Matt.

This particular gun I would call a Pigeon Grade, but the serial # ends in 171 and it dates to 2002 (MY).

All the Pigeon Grade guns I have seen end in 499.

I have a 1994 (NW) BT-99 Golden Clays and it ends in C99.
