How difficult is it to replace a fireing pin on a bt99?

It can be a little harder than changing one in many other guns as there is a threaded firing pin bushing that must be removed. To remove it, you will need to come up with a quality 3-legged spider wrench and will also more than likely need a good padded vice as they can be hard to remove.

You might also find that a torque driver will aide in the breaking loose of the bushing. If I remember right it is recommended by the tool MFG. The tool is made by Menck and can be purchased at Brownells #590-017-003AB $20. Brownells number is 1-800-741-0015

Some 99's had 2 hole bushings as well as 3 hole. Brownells has both tools.
