    I recently purchased an older BT99 (1969 according to the serial #)with a 32" barrel. There were no ID stamping on the barrel to identify the choke. I'm guessing it would be Full? (I don't have a choke gauge to check it) Does anyone know if they only made Full choke for the first couple of years? Or did Browning make them with Improved Modified too?

    Thanks,
    Dean

    On the lug by the barrel length will be one of the following

    *=Full choke
    * with an underline=Improved modified

    I am not sure about others
