I shoot a 34" BT-99 MAX without the monte. I perfer it that way. My scores are fine with it. I don't remember the year I bought it. 9-10 years ago maybe? Don't know what the MAX means or stands for. I don't see many of the MAX's around either.

bt 99 monte carlo, 34 inch barrel. try to trade in a 32 inch barrel, you won't get as much. you will also have to hear how they are hard to sell.

For trap, you buy the longest barrel available. That's the LAW.

    My 99 is a 32. I have shot guns with 34. Couldn't tell a difference.

saw a guy break targets from the approximate 35 yd line with a 20 ga. benellie with a 28 in bbl and a turkey choke last tues. he probaly hasn't shot more than 20 full rounds of trap in his life. my point: longer bbls dont break them any harder.
