If I switch to a release trigger do I have to take the trigger in my gun now and convert it or can I buy one for my gun?

I could be mistaken, but I've never seen a BT-99 with a removable trigger group. The trigger parts for a BT-99 are mounted directly to the receiver, so you'll need to have the current trigger converted to a release. Some gunsmiths make their release hooks easily removable so that the gun can be quickly converted back to a pull trigger, but it still would require that you pull the sock off to have access to do that.

Corey. Several folks are making this style trigger. This is my Spears and Doug Hubbart makes a comparable trigger. Others install some parts and then yo have a process that can be reversed. This trigger sets at 6 lbs and lets go at 3 lbs. Kiner thinks it is too fast. Realistically, it is faster than the norm and some like that and some do not.

the new spears is nice i had one but did not like the fact that if i wanted to convert it back i had to send it back to spears.
