bt-99 question

    bt99 gun number 1 (1969), bt99 gun number 2 (2009). 1 & 2 have different trigger guards. I know there will be a problem with the stock, and this is not a problem. Will the trigger guard from gun 1 attach to the reciever of gun 2??

    I hesitated to answer because I am not sure but I think the two will interchange. Sounds like he is wanting to put a short tang in place of a long tang.
