BT 99 Help forarm pops off

    Anyone had the forarm come off when fired it has happpened several times

    Is this on a newer style BT with the beaver tail forearm or one of the older "box" type forearm? I have a newer style with thousands of rounds through it and can't say as I have ever had anything like that happen, it's on there pretty securely. If it is on a newer style, I would suggest contacting Browning on it and see what they say. Hope this helps. Josh

    The new BT-99 AR's are bad for this, or that is what I hear.

    It is likely that the forearm latch screw is broken. This is common on the newer style 99. Browning is not helpful with this issue. You are better off with your local gunsmith to reinforce the latch mount. If you would like ideas for this repair go ahead and PM to me. Jeff K.
