My newly purchased BT-99 comes with a beavertail forearm witch is too large for me. Any knowledgable people out there can give me directions to find alternatives? Thanks, John.

there's a reason for the wide forearm. It's to prevent clutching and gripping too hard. Try sort of laying it in your hand and not grasping it. You may find that it's worth getting used to. Bill in MI

Had the same issue with my girlfriends perazzi TM-1 with the big fat forearm. I found used a forearm, somewhat of beater for $25.00 and took it to friend with a large disk sander. He re-shaped to a much smaller size and I sent it out for new checkering ($65.00) I clear coated it. It's looks good and everybody's happy. This may work for you?
