I believe its probably dipped. If not, someone spent a good amount of time doing that with paint.

That appears to be marbilized paint from the House Colors. The prep time and work is the key. Need good base coat in black then the color overtop of the black. Many different ways to swirl the blue to get the pattern then shoot it with clear coat for the final finish. Just a guess unless it has been dipped.

Sometimes a wrinkled Saran Wrap is used to mess up the finish.

I messed around on a bunch of paint schemes, but after looking at the Hydro dip and the price I couldn't pass it up! So if you want to call it cheating I guess thats ok but for $70 and it did not mess any checkering up or fit of any parts going back together it worked great. For 40 years old I have never seen a gift of that age bring a bigger smile to a face! We just got back from practice and she shot it great! It was the talk of the club!

You can base coat it with any color you want then dip it in any pattern and color you want. The combinations are really endless. For this type of look I think it is great. When it is used to make it look like $2000 Turkish Walnut Exibition Grade, not so much. Jon

I was checking out their website. Is this the style you chose "D15"?

That is the pattern. It takes a blue candy coat sprayed over it, and then the sealer.
