BT 99 doesnt like to open easily after firing

    Anyone know why a BT 99 may not like to open easily after firing? Seems to do it on factory Federals and AA reloads.

    If it's a new or relatively new gun that's the nature of a Browning break open. It will take 1,500 rounds or so to loosen up.

    this just happend to my bt-99+ check the ejector extention

    I was going to say to check your ejector rod. They have a tendency to bend.

    That long rod, circled, will bend and give you grief. Notable in the S/S versions.....

    Is there a dry mark on the face of the shell? If there is, it could be a broken firing pin.
