But you pay a FORTUNE extra for just the adjustable rib. For several hundred less than the $19-2300 dollar it takes to buy a new BT99-AR you can get a super nice used BT-100 which, at least in my opinion, is a much more serious trap gun. The BT-100 has a very tall fixed rib and a drop-out trigger group which, on glossy models is adjustable for pull-weight, fore/aft position, and eject/extract. The trigger group is easy to clean and the removal, adjustments and re-installation can be done in seconds. The AR has none of that and as soon as you shoot one round of trap it's going to be worth less than the BT-100.

If you decide you still want one ignore those who say Monsoor's or wherever is the only place they ever came from -- Sportsman's Den in Ohio sells them too. They're often on sale for $1899 and if you want an adjustable comb they'll send it right down the steet to Rod's Custom Stock's and provide a better-than-factory one for $200. Hit the link.

    Good luck.
