    Hey,

    Pat Laib had one at the MN State Shoot, very nice in the box.

    Take care,

    Does that price seem a bit high for a non-adjustable comb gun to anyone else?

    I'm also not certain of the value of an adjustable rib without an adjustable comb.

    BiggyDave ... are you speaking of the BT-99 AR or the "BT-99 Golden Clays with Adjustable Comb" which lists for far more than what your suggesting.

    I called Sportman's Den.
    I was tild that they are selling them now.
    I was told this is what it will cost.

    The basic model is $1999.00

    Add porting $50.00

    Adj comb add $150.00

    Add Graycoil $300.00

    Total= $2499.00 plus shipping

    What did the BT99 plus sell for?

    If you were at the Grand in 94 you could have been arrested for what a Bt99 plus sold for on closeout. I was young then and couldn't figure out why everyone was carrying all of the Browning boxes under their arms. Then I walked into Jaquas and the plus guns were stacked everywhere. I think you could have bought the grade 1 that year for 1200 or maybe cheaper. I think they retailed closer to $2000. Don't hold me to those numbers though, I might be wrong.

    It's still one of my favorite Vandalia memories, 'Grand' deals!

    Shot leagues tonight and noticed how many were still shooting a BT 99+ or Citori Trap +. With proper care and maintenance, they last a long time. One of these guns has been owned by at least 3 trap members and adjusted to each one of them. I was told by a shooter (misguided to say the least) to hurry and sell mine since the new ones would lower my guns market value. I am still waiting. With options added on the AR, you are real close to the Golden Clays price tag (aware the rib doesn't adjust). IMHO Omaha
